1. NAVIGATION PART

  • WPT- WAYPOINT: TYPE IN ANY WAYPOINT IN YOUR LEG,

  • TRK- TRACK: IT'S THE HEADING FOR GROUND TRACK IF WE DON'T CONSIDER WIND [DEGREES],

  • DIST- DISTANCE: DISTANCE BETWEEN TWO POINTS ON YOUR ROUTE [NAUTICAL MILES],

  • IAS- INDICATED AIR SPEED: YOU INPUT ONLY ONE IAS AT THE BEGINNING AND IT WILL BE THE SAME ON WHOLE NAV SHEET FROM IAS AND WIND GROUND SPEED WILL BE CALCULATED ]KNOTS],

  • GS- GROUND SPEED: IT WILL BE CALCULATED FROM IAS AND WIND [KNOTS],

  • ALT- PLANNED ALTITUDE: YOU CAN MAKE NOTE FOR YOURSELF FOR SAFE OR PLANNED ALTITUDE ON TRACK,

  • W- WIND ANGLE: TYPE IN ANGLE FROM WHICH WIND BLOWS SO GS CAN BE CALCULATED [DEGREES],

  • V- VELOCITY OF WIND: TYPE IN WIND VELOCITY IN KNOTS SO GS CAN BE CALCULATED. IF YOU INPUT "0" (ZERO) IAS AND GS WILL REMAIN EQUAL. [KNOTS],

  • ETE- ESTIMATED TIME ENROUTE: IS A CALCULATED TIME FROM YOUR GS AND DISTANCE [HH:MM],

  • ATA- ACTUAL TIME OF ARRIVAL: IS FILLED DURING FLIGHT WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO WAYPOINT.

2. INFORMATION PART

 THIS PART IS MOSTLY FOR FILLING INFORMATION ABOUT WEATHER, AIRPORT FREQUENCIES AND NAVIAGATION AIDS FREQUENCIES.

  • FUELBURN: TYPE IN FUEL BURN OF YOUR PLANE. THERE ARE SOME DEFAULT SETTINGS FOR EACH AIRCRAFT BUT IT IS CUSTOMIZABLE,

  • A/C: THIS IS A UNCHANGEABLE IT'S DV20 FOR KATANA DA20, C172 FOR CESSNA 172 AND C150 FOR CESSNA 150,

  • REG: A DROP MENU WILL POP UP AS SOON AS YOU CLICK ON THAT CELL PROVIDING REGISTRATIONS OF FLIGHT SCHOOL BIDOVCE AIRCRAFTS BUT IT IS CUSTOMAZIBLE AS WELL,

  • POB: SCROLL BAR WITH SET MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM OF PAX AVAILABLE FOR THAT TYPE OF AIRPLANE,

  • FUELREQ: IS A CALCULATED FUNCIOT WHICH CALCULATES ALL FUEL YOU NEED. INCLUDING TRIP FIEL, 45 MINUTES RESERVE FUEL, 5% CONTIGENCY FUEL AND YOU CAN ADD PIC ADDITION FUEL IN "FUEL AND WEIGHT & BALANCE" PART WHICH WILL BE EXPLAINED IN 3RD SECTION OF THIS TUTORIAL,

  • TWR/APP/ATIS: THIS CELLS WILL FIND ICAO CODE OF AIRPORT YOU TYPED IN AND IT WILL SHOW THE FREQUENCY AUTOMATICALLY FROM DATABASE WHICH I WROTE BY MY SELF. IF THERE IS ONLY ONE FREQUENCY IT IS INFO FREQUENCY OR ONLY TOWER FREQUENCY,

  • VOR: TYPE IN ANY VOR OR NDB STATION 2 OR 3 LETTER CODE,

  • FREQ: THIS CELLS WILL FIND 2 OR 3 LETTER CODE OF NAVIGATION AID YOU TYPED IN AND IT WILL SHOW THE FREQUENCY AUTOMATICALLY FROM DATABASE WHICH I WROTE BY MY SELF,

  • NOTES: YOUR NOTE MAY BE NOTED HERE DURING FLIGHT OR PRE-FLIGHT PREPARATION.

3. FUEL, WEIGHT & BALANCE PART

THIS IS THE MOST BOTTOM OF THE NAVIGATION SHEET. THIS PART INCLUDES FUEL CALCULATION AND WEIGHT AND BALANCE.

  • ETE- ESTIMATED TIME ENROUTE: IS THE TOTAL TIME OF FLIGHT CALCULATED BY EXCEL [HH:MM],

  • 45MIN. FUEL: IS A FUEL NEEDED FOR 45 MINUTES OF FLIGHT AND IT IS CALCULATED DIRECTLY FROM HOURLY CONSUMPTION [L],

  • CONT. FUEL(5%): IT'S A AMOUNT OF FUEL EQUAL TO 5% PERCENT OF TRIP FUEL [L],

  • PIC ADD. FUEL: ADDITIONAL FUEL BY CONSIDERATION OF PILOT IN COMMAND. SCROLL BAR IS INSTALLED FOR EASIER INPUT [L],

  • PILOT+PAX: INPUT SUM OF PILOT AND PASSENGER WEIGHT [KG], THE MOMENT WILL BE CALCULATED AUTOMATICALLY,

  • LUGGAGE: INPUT LUGGAGE WEIGHT [KG] THE MOMENT WILL BE CALCULATED AUTOMATICALLY,

  • FUEL: THIS IS AUTOMATIC PART WHERE FEUL ON BOARD (FOB) IS CALCULATE FROM CELL "FUEL REQUIRED" AND MOMENT IS CALCULATED FROM THE WEIGHT OF FUEL,

  • TOW- TAKE-OFF WEIGHT: SUM OF ALL WEIGHTS, IT'S A AUTOMATIC CALCULATION [KG],

  • LW- LANDING WEIGHT: IT'S A AUTOMATIC CALCULATION OF TAKE-OFF WEIGHT MINUS MASS OF TRIP FUEL [KG],

  • TO MOMENT- TAKE-OFF MOMENT: IS CALCULATED FROM "TOW" [KG*M],

  • LDG- LANDING MOMENT: IS CALCULATED FROM "LW" AND IS SUBTRACTED BY TRIP FUEL MOMENT [KG*M]

  • CHART: YOU CAN SEE TWO DOTS. ONE FOR TAKE-OFF POSITION OF CENTER OF GRAVITY (TO CG) AND SECOND FOR LANDING POSITION OF CENTER OF GRAVITY (LDG CG).
